Growing up is full of little moments that feel very big.

The first time they try. The first time they insist, "I can do it." The little wobbles along the way. And that wonderful moment when "I can't" becomes "I did it!"

At Sprig & Scout, we believe those everyday discoveries deserve to be encouraged, celebrated and made a little easier.

That's why we're creating thoughtfully designed products to help little people build confidence and independence as they learn the everyday skills that help them grow.

Our Story

Our journey began with a challenge that many parents know all too well.

When our child was little, my wife and I had a limited income, and the cost of buying nappies so frequently placed real pressure on our family budget. Travelling brought another worry. Whenever we went on holiday outside the UK, we filled our bags with multipacks because we were anxious that we might not find the right nappies nearby.

Somehow, we made it through that stage—but we never forgot how stressful and expensive it felt.

Years later, a close friend had a baby and began facing many of the same problems. As his child grew and reached the potty-training stage, he struggled to find suitable training pants. Some were so absorbent that they felt just like nappies, making it difficult for his child to notice an accident. Others provided too little protection and left clothing uncomfortably wet.

That was when we decided to look for a better balance—not only for our friend, but for other families going through the same journey.

We explored many designs and tested different combinations of layers. We wanted training pants that could contain small accidents while still allowing children to notice wetness. That gentle feeling helps a child connect what has happened with the need to use the potty next time.

Eventually, we found the balance we had been searching for: soft, reusable training pants that support body awareness, encourage independence and help families rely less on disposable nappies.

We created them from our own experience as parents, for families like yours.
